Hidden in the pages of the Texas Taildragger Club website Larry Minch found these two interesting photographs.
 

When I contacted Asa Dean, the webmaster of the Taildragger Site for further details, this was his reply:

"Unfortunately, I don't know much about the photos. They guy in the hat was my dad, Nick Dean. He owned Dean's Air Taxi, an FBO at the Melbourne Municipal Airport, Florida. The photo is dated 1957. I remember the Mite sitting outside the hanger for a while and I had fun dreaming of flying it (I was in high school at the time). Dad repaired the damage and it was flown away. It was not based at Melbourne. I don't know the N number or anything else about it."
