Over what production period did Mooney use the "Flying Wing" emblem (logo) on the data plates of M-18's?
I have a photo of the data plate on Dave Mazzola's N380A (see below), and I conclude that it was probably used on the plates of all L models. I also have photos of plates on two '55 models - they don't have the emblem.
Did Mooney continue to use the emblem on the LA's and C's? I would appreciate hearing from owners who can have a look at the original data plates on their Mites and tell me. If you can prove me wrong in my assumption about the L's and 55's, fine.
