I recently purchased an aux fuel tank for 491M. The previous owner of this tank wasn't exactly sure how it should be installed. I have the six gallon tank, filler neck and wobble pump. Does anyone have information on this installation or where I could start my research?
Thanks

It looks as if there are six separate drawings that cover the auxiliary fuel tank installation. 586010, 284210, 284220, 183150, 284230 & 585990. If you can get a copy of these drawings I think you'll find what you need.

Mike, I have requested copies of drawings from the NASM in Washington; however, the numbers listed for the aux fuel tank don't match your numbers. What source are you using? I'm sure the drawings are the same, but maybe your source would be quicker than NASM.

David, I looked at the M18-X drawing list. I'm not sure what the NASM drawings contain, but if you could order them I think you'll find the information you're looking for.

David,
From prior discussions with Mike I am aware that he doesn't have easy access to a scanner large enough to scan drawings. I am lucky enough to have access to one at work so I'll look up the drawings and see if I can email them to you if they aren't too big.
