We are looking for information about teflon-lined outboard motor throttle cables.

On the Mite Site, there is a discussion about this between Ray Allen and Dave Dodson. Marine 33C9 throttle cables are mentioned, but not a source: http://www.mooneymite.com/maintenance/fixbrakes.htm

Can anyone tell us the name of a manufacturer, supplier, and part number?

Any additional comments and suggestions would be welcomed.

Thanks.

The marine store where I purchased the cables has gone out of business. However with the help of Scott Royal I found them on line. The cables are sold with a trade name of "Morse Marine Cables". I took one of the old Mooney Mite Brake cables to the Marine Store and we measured it. The Morse Marine Cables come in even foot lengths.
I think the cables I purchased were 12 feet in length. which was 6 inches longer the old mite cables. But 6 inches is easy to "loose" in the wing.
I went to Pyacht.com and found this item: telCC17212 Teleflex Morse 3300 Standard Control Cable - 12 Ft. $30.75 Be sure to check the length of your brake cable as the Morse Cables cannot be returned.
