Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to say Hello and introduce myself. My name is Clarence Beintema, a private pilot, 2 time Mooney owner, currently a 1966 M20E. I am the owner of an aircraft maintenance shop here in Kitchener Ontario. I just returned from Texas this past weekend after purchasing Mite N4131 a M18C, which I found on the Site.
I disassembled and trailered it home from Pleasanton Texas to Kitchener Ontario a distance of 5800 KM round trip, quite a drive. My new Mite requires complete overhaul of everything. I plan on completing the restoration over the next few years. The airframe needs fabric, the engine and propeller an overhaul and just about anything else that can use up any spare money!! When finished it will fly in Canada as C-GMYT
I'm sure that I'll have lots questions for you guys as I source items for the restoration.
